How to submit to Uneed: cost, link and review time

Launching on Uneed is free if you accept a date at least 30 days out, or $14.99 for Fast-track and $39.99 to pick your date. The Visit link was rel="noopener" with no nofollow on all 14 listings checked, but Uneed states free launches keep the dofollow link only at an upvote score of 20. How to submit to Uneed

  1. Open the submit page and enter your product name and product address.
  2. Choose Preview my product and let Uneed read your page.
  3. Sign up when asked, so the submission is saved.
  4. Review and edit the details Uneed gathered from your page.
  5. Pick a plan: the free waiting line, Fast-track or Skip the line.
  6. Make sure the product is ready at least a week before its launch date.
  7. Gather upvotes on launch day, since the score decides whether the listing stays published and keeps a dofollow link.

Is Uneed worth it?

Uneed is worth a free launch if you can wait for a date. The free line costs nothing and the pricing page cites a 75 DR domain and 125K monthly visitors, which are Uneed's own figures. The FAQ says at least 30 free launches run per day, so competition for the top spots is spread thin.

The cost shows up in time and effort rather than money. A free launch is dated at least 30 days out, and it must reach an upvote score of 10 to stay published, so you need people ready to vote on the day. Those thresholds are published in the FAQ, so check them again before you plan around the free route.

What to prepare before you submit to Uneed

Have a live product with a clear page, since Uneed reads the address you enter and fills in its own draft. Service based products are accepted per the FAQ. If the product is not ready a week before its date, Uneed removes it from the line, so do not submit a prototype to reserve a slot. Uneed also shows an early bird Pro plan as sold out, which is separate from launching.

Line up supporters for launch day. The FAQ says you may upvote your own product. Free launches need a score of 10 to stay published and 20 to keep a dofollow backlink, so a small group who will actually vote matters more than a design polish.

Uneed trade-offs

The link is dependable but conditional. The Visit link carried rel="noopener" on every listing read, which means no nofollow. Uneed also says the link becomes nofollow when a free launch scores below 20, and that Skip the line and Relaunch keep dofollow for life. Pay to remove that risk.

Reach is modest next to the largest boards. Uneed reports about 22,000 visitors sent to product sites per month, and the audience is mostly founders and indie makers, so enterprise sales products may see little. Treat those figures as Uneed's own claims, and judge fit by whether other indie products like yours appear on the board.
