How to submit to Futurepedia: cost, link and review time

Futurepedia no longer exposes a public submit page: the old submit URLs return 404 as of 2026-11-01. Its terms still describe paid verified listings, and no price is published on pages we could fetch. On three verified listings we read, the outbound link carried rel="noopener noreferrer" with UTM parameters and no nofollow, which differs from our earlier check. It suits AI products that accept an unclear, paid path.

How to submit to Futurepedia

  1. Look for the current submission route on Futurepedia, since the previously documented submit URLs now return 404.
  2. Confirm with the team (the terms list a support email) what a verified listing costs today.
  3. Check that the product is an AI tool and not an AI newsletter, directory or adult tool.
  4. Pay the one-time verification fee if you proceed; fees are processed through HubSpot's Stripe payment processing, per the terms.
  5. Expect an editorial check: the terms say a tool that fails the Editorial Policy is refunded.
  6. After publishing, use the update-a-tool form on the site for changes.

Is Futurepedia worth it?

Futurepedia is worth it only after you have confirmed the price and the current process. We could not find a published fee or a working public submit form on 2026-11-01, so any budget decision rests on information you must request.

What the terms of service do state is the benefit set: verified listings get a verified check mark, reviews, enhanced listing elements and eligibility for sponsorships and editorial placements. Listings also appear alongside courses, workflows and a newsletter, which suggests the audience is learners and business users, though we have not verified traffic.

What to prepare before you submit to Futurepedia

Prepare a plain description of what the tool does, its category, pricing model and a working URL. Check that the product is not excluded: the terms say Futurepedia accepts AI tools only and rejects NSFW, dating and romance tools, and AI newsletters or other directories.

Ask for the fee in writing before paying. The terms say payments are non-cancelable and non-refundable except under the stated policy, and the stated exceptions are failing the Editorial Policy or the service being discontinued within 30 days of a one-time payment.

Futurepedia trade-offs

The earlier dataset recorded a $497 verified listing with a nofollow link. Neither is confirmed today: no price appears on fetchable pages, and the three verified listings we read had no nofollow attribute. Link attributes can change without notice, so re-check your own listing after it goes live. The lack of a visible submit page is the main friction. A fee you cannot see, for a process you cannot start without contacting the team, is a poor fit for a launch you need to schedule.

How to confirm the link and the price

Because both the price and the link attribute differ from the earlier record, verify them yourself. Ask the team for the verification fee in writing and keep the reply. After your listing is live, open the page, view the source and search for the anchor that points to your domain; read its rel attribute and the utm parameters appended to the URL. Record the date, since the markup can change. If you track referral traffic, the utm_source=futurepedia tag makes visits easy to find in analytics, which helps you judge the value without relying on link attributes at all.

How we checked

We read Futurepedia’s own submission, pricing and policy pages on 2026-11-01, and for the link attribute we read the raw HTML of a live public listing rather than relying on the platform’s description. Listing checked: futurepedia.io/tool/lucidpic. Prices and rules change; the date at the top is the last time each fact on this page was checked. Sources:

Toolfound publishes this page and runs its own launch board, so we are not neutral about launching. No platform paid to be profiled here. The rules we apply to ourselves are on the methodology page.

Common questions

Is the Futurepedia backlink dofollow?

On three verified listings read on 2026-11-01 (Lucidpic, ChatGPT, Midjourney) the visit link had rel="noopener noreferrer" and no nofollow, sponsored or ugc value, with UTM parameters added to the URL. That is dofollow by default, but we did not find an unverified listing to compare, and social links in the site footer do carry nofollow.

How much does it cost to submit to Futurepedia?

No price is published on pages we could fetch. The terms describe paid verified listings and a no-refund policy outside stated exceptions. An earlier check recorded $497 one-time, which we could not reconfirm.

Is there a free way to get listed on Futurepedia?

We found no free submission path. The old submit URLs return 404 and the site navigation offers sign-in and registration but no submit link.

What does Futurepedia reject?

The terms say it accepts AI tools only and does not allow NSFW tools, including dating and romance tools. AI newsletters and other directories are also rejected.
