How to submit to SaaSHub: cost, link and review time

Submitting a product to SaaSHub is free, with an optional featured listing at $99 per month. The link depends on verification: on 11 listings read, those with the Officially verified badge had an empty rel on the visit button, while unverified ones such as Notion carried rel="nofollow". It suits released software products that want visibility on alternatives pages.

How to submit to SaaSHub

  1. Open the SaaSHub submit page and read the guidelines.
  2. Enter the product website URL, either the product site or a product page on your company site.
  3. Add a few relevant categories, checking competitors' categories for ideas.
  4. List competitors, since submissions without them are slowed and queued last.
  5. Verify the product with an email address on its domain for higher priority.
  6. Wait for approval; SaaSHub says it may reject or remove products, even approved ones.

Is SaaSHub worth it?

SaaSHub is worth a free listing if your product has known competitors. The featured page states 564,000 plus monthly visits from people who compare tools and look for alternatives, which is SaaSHub's own figure, and a featured product receives an estimated 22 to 40 referrals a month by its own estimate.

Treat the free listing as search surface, not a launch event. Nothing in the submit flow describes a ranking day or a launch window; the listing appears on alternatives and category pages once approved. The page also says it lists featured products on competitor pages, which is where buyers compare.

What to prepare before you submit to SaaSHub

Prepare a released product. SaaSHub rejects products that are not released yet, landing pages with an email form for a waiting list, products on free subdomains such as vercel.com or saasify.com, products not in English and software development agencies. It does accept SaaS, IaaS and PaaS products, most software and apps, and mobile apps with decent websites.

Prepare competitors and categories. The submit page says a list without competitors goes to the bottom of the queue, and verification with a domain email gives higher priority. Submission by email is not accepted, so use the form. Reviewing the guidelines on the submit page before filling in the form saves a rejection.

SaaSHub trade-offs

The link outcome is not guaranteed. Established products such as Notion, Slack and Figma had rel="nofollow" on the main visit button, and verified smaller products had an empty rel. The pattern matched the Officially verified badge in every case we sampled, but SaaSHub does not state the rule, so it could change.

Paid placement costs $99 a month and the featured page describes a prominent green Visit Website button that other listings lack. Reach is also limited to categories where people search for alternatives. Smaller categories give less to appear on. Smaller categories give less to appear on, so check the competitor pages first to see whether your niche is covered.

How we checked

We read SaaSHub’s own submission, pricing and policy pages on 2026-11-01, and for the link attribute we read the raw HTML of a live public listing rather than relying on the platform’s description. Listing checked: saashub.com/notion. Prices and rules change; the date at the top is the last time each fact on this page was checked. Sources:

Common questions

Is the SaaSHub backlink dofollow?

It depends. On 2026-11-01 the main Visit button had rel="nofollow" on unverified pages such as Notion, Slack and Airtable, and an empty rel on pages showing the Officially verified badge. SaaSHub does not document this, so verify your own page's HTML.

How long does SaaSHub approval take?

Can I submit a pre-launch product to SaaSHub?

No. SaaSHub says products that are not released yet are rejected immediately, and landing pages with an email form for a waiting list are not accepted.

What does a featured SaaSHub listing include?
