About Sundown
Sundown is a Mac menu bar app that warms and dims your display on a schedule you set. It goes far warmer than Night Shift, all the way to a deep candlelight red, and dims below the normal backlight floor by pulling the gamma curve down.
You pick a preset or set warmth and brightness by hand. Presets cover the day from Energy and Flow through Reading, Evening and Relax to Midnight, plus a Custom slot. Changes ramp in smoothly so the screen never jumps, and your media keys keep working.
It is a native Swift app with no account to create. It runs on macOS 14 or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Plans are $4.99 a month, $39 a year or $79 for a lifetime licence, with a 7 day trial on the monthly and yearly plans. Sundown is made by Jack Richards.

Optional
Copy a snippet onto your site if you want to. Badges are earned status, not a toll: your listing stays indexed, ranked and dofollow whether or not one is embedded. Add whatever rel attribute suits your site. A badge seen on a live site earns the optional badge partner tag. The smaller badge, in light or dark and small or large, is on the badge page.
