Pitch Tempo

Pitch Tempo helps musicians prepare short audio recordings for practice in a browser. Upload a recording you are allowed to use, estimate its musical key and BPM, then change pitch and tempo independently. A singer can try an accompaniment in a more comfortable key, while an instrumentalist can prepare a slower practice copy without changing its pitch. Preview the result before exporting it. Audio files can be up to five minutes and 100 MB. Pitch changes range from minus 12 to plus 12 semitones; tempo changes range from 50% to 150%. Key and BPM results are estimates that should be checked by ear against the music. Processing happens on the server. Guest use needs no account and permits three new uploads per 24 hours. Guest audio is available for 24 hours from upload. The site also provides free numerical key-transposition and BPM-to-percentage calculators for planning changes without uploading a recording. I run the service.
