About CADProps

CADProps is a free browser-based workspace for inspecting supported CAD and mesh files without creating an account. Open a model to view geometry, check dimensions and available properties, compare versions, and export results where supported. STEP and IGES solid geometry can provide exact B-Rep measurements, while mesh-derived measurements are approximate. Mass estimates require a material density that the user confirms. Files are uploaded for server-side processing in a temporary guest workspace, so it is not a local-only viewer. The supported-formats page explains which measurements are available for each file type, and the privacy page explains handling and retention. CADProps is useful for quick part checks before quoting, fabrication, or sharing technical context with a teammate. It is a viewer and measurement tool, not a CAD editor or native-format converter.
